Zoom Tool allows you to zoom in to whatever you have on your monitor. If you are anything like me, I like to have my monitor at its highest resolution. Sometimes I can not make out the details of some 8 point text.

Zoom Tool has a Desktop Mode where the viewport is updated with whatever is underneath the mouse pointer. While in Desktop mode, the viewport location can be locked or frozen. The Image mode allows you to zoom into opened graphics files as well as any pasted images. Images can be pasted directly into the program allowing you to be able to analyze virtually any image that is published on the web.

Notes:

Some images are not properly registered as part of the desktop - and that they will not appear in the viewport when in Desktop mode. In order to analyze these windows, you can sometimes take a screenshot of that program when it is active by pressing Alt+Prt Scr. This copied image can then be pasted into the Zoom Tool. These pasted images will become part of the History in the same way as an opened file.
